This rustic campground is in a remote part of Grand Teton National Park. The campground is 11 miles south of Yellowstone and eight miles north of Colter Bay Village providing easy access to both parks. The campsites are in a spruce and fir forest on the shores of Jackson Lake. One mile across the lake is the northern portion of the Teton Range including Webb Canyon, Owl and Ranger peaks. Looking south, the expanse of the Teton Range towers over Jackson Lake.
Campsites are reservable on Recreation.gov. Plan ahead and reserve your site up to six months in advance.

- $49 · Fee per night for campers with a vehicle. All campsites include a picnic table, fire pit, and nearby restrooms. Most sites have a bear box. Restrooms have flush toilets and cold running water. Shower facilities are available in the park, but not at the campground. *Rates do not reflect Senior and Access passholder discounts, taxes, or incremental charges.

- The campground loop roads are paved but on hilly terrain making wheelchair access challenging. Restroom facilities are partially accessible.

- No internet service. The closest public wireless internet access is at the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center in Moose.

- The Lizard Creek Campground has two loops with 60 individual sites. At this time, none are ADA accessible. In the future, the campground will redesign sites to be compliant. Restroom facilities are partially accessible. No showers are available. No payphone is available. Route into the amphitheater is well-compacted gravel and on a slight slope.

Snapshot retrieved 2026-10-03. 474 NPS site records include 62 national-park API records; Sequoia and Kings Canyon share one API record. These record counts are not the official count of individually designated parks. 392 API site records have matched visitation history, including the separately reported Sequoia and Kings Canyon visit totals combined for their shared API record. 665 campgrounds are included.
Complete monthly series reconcile with the source’s annual totals. Published annual totals remain available for years with partial monthly reporting. Four monthly entries contain negative accounting corrections. They remain in the archived data and annual totals, and are unavailable as ordinary monthly visit counts. Blank data is not zero. Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values. This helps compare recorded seasonality; it is not a crowding forecast, reservation forecast, or present-condition report.
Activities and amenities reflect published NPS entries, rather than a guarantee of access on a particular day. Fees and pass categories are dated 2026-10-03; official site and reservation links provide current conditions and rules. Campground points are published NPS coordinates.
