Camp Mawavi (Cabin Camp 2) first hosted campers in 1937. The camp sleeps 148 visitors. This camp mainly contains rustic 4-person cabins, with a few 2 and 6-person cabins. The units are clustered in a circular arrangement and each contains 8 cabins, a bath house, and a craft lodge. Each unit is in a grassy clearing that is surrounded by dense forest. The large ballfield and lake access in Camp Mawavi are among the best in the park.

- Firewood purchased or brought from outside of the park must be USDA certified pest-free firewood. Campers may use downed and dead wood of less than 6 inches in diameter and no longer than the length and width of the provided camping grill. Electrical appliances (Stoves, AC Units, heaters, etc.) are prohibited.

- There are no RV hook-ups in the Cabin Camps. RVs and trailers are not allowed.

Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values.
