Goodell Creek Campground is situated in lush, old growth forest on the banks of the Skagit River. Campsites are suitable for tents and small RVs. First-come, first-served during the winter; summer reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance or 7 days in advance. Nearby recreational opportunities include a raft/kayak launch on the Skagit River and fishing on the Skagit and its tributaries.

Reservations are required during the peak season for all campgrounds from late May through early September of each year. Reservations are released in two different booking windows of 6 months in advance or 7 days in advance. Campsites can be reserved online or over the phone. To reserve campsites over the phone, call recreation.gov at (877) 444-6777.

Goodell Creek Campground Summer Reservation Fee
$20 · Fee is per site per night, and includes a maximum of 2 vehicles, 8 people, and 3 tents. Fee also includes service charge from recreation.gov reservation system. Check out time is 12 pm on day of departure.
Goodell Creek Campground Fall First-Come, First-Served Fee
$20 · Campsites are first-come, first-served once reservations end the first week of September and fees are charged while potable water and trash are provided. Fee is per site per night; fees are paid through pay.gov at tinyurl.com/NOCACamping. Campsite occupancy limits include a maximum of 2 vehicles, 8 people, and 3 tents. Snapshot retrieved 2026-10-03. 474 NPS site records include 62 national-park API records; Sequoia and Kings Canyon share one API record. These record counts are not the official count of individually designated parks. 392 API site records have matched visitation history, including the separately reported Sequoia and Kings Canyon visit totals combined for their shared API record. 665 campgrounds are included.

Complete monthly series reconcile with the source’s annual totals. Published annual totals remain available for years with partial monthly reporting. Four monthly entries contain negative accounting corrections. They remain in the archived data and annual totals, and are unavailable as ordinary monthly visit counts. Blank data is not zero. Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values. This helps compare recorded seasonality; it is not a crowding forecast, reservation forecast, or present-condition report.

Activities and amenities reflect published NPS entries, rather than a guarantee of access on a particular day. Fees and pass categories are dated 2026-10-03; official site and reservation links provide current conditions and rules. Campground points are published NPS coordinates.
