Cabin Camp 3 (Individual Cabins)

Individual cabin rentals and a small group site are available in Cabin Camp 3. This forested camp was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cabin Camp 3, A and B Units can be reserved by families or small groups. In A Unit, there are 3 cabins that accommodate up to 4 people and 7 cabins that accommodate up to 6 people. In B Unit, there are 3 cabins that can accommodate up to 10 people.

Reservations can be made by visiting recreation.gov or calling 877-444-6777 from April to early November. There are no walk-in sites available, however same-day reservations are possible if there are cabins available.

Four-Person Cabin Per Night
$50 · Individual cabin in Cabin Camp 3 that sleeps 4 people. Each cabin includes individual beds and mattresses, a picnic table and a cooking grill. Cabins have electric lights and ceiling fans, but only cabins A1 and A2 have electrical outlets. Cabins are not equipped with kitchens or individual bathrooms. Please note that pets are not allowed in any cabin camp. This cost does not include entrance fees, which are $20 per vehicle or covered by a park pass.
Six-Person Cabin Per Night
$60 · Individual cabin in Cabin Camp 3 that sleeps 6 people. Each cabin includes individual beds and mattresses, a picnic table and a cooking grill. Cabins have electric lights and ceiling fans, but only cabins A4 and A9a have electrical outlets. Cabins are not equipped with kitchens or individual bathrooms. Please note that pets are not allowed in any cabin camp. This cost does not include entrance fees, which are $20 per vehicle or covered by a park pass.
Ten-Person Cabin Per Night
$70 · Individual cabin in Cabin Camp 3 that sleeps 10 people. Each cabin includes individual beds and mattresses, a picnic table and a cooking grill. Cabins have electric lights and ceiling fans, but only cabins B2 and B3 have electrical outlets. Cabins are not equipped with kitchens or individual bathrooms. There are no ramp into the cabins and most cabins have steps or short staircases into them.

Cell phone coverage may be spotty.
fire Stove Policy
Firewood purchased or brought from outside of the park must be USDA certified pest-free firewood. Campers may use downed and dead wood of less than 6 inches in diameter and no longer than the length and width of the provided camping grill. Electrical appliances (Stoves, AC Units, heaters, etc.) are prohibited. Portable gas stoves are allowed.

There are no RV hook-ups in the Cabin Camps. RVs and trailers are not allowed.

Parking lots are generally small.  Parking can be limited at times, especially during heavy rain events.  Park management encourages you to carpool.

Most routes in the cabin camps contain slopes and are not paved.  While the restrooms themselves are accessible, the routes to the restrooms are awkward to navigate with gravel and dirt.

Snapshot retrieved 2026-10-03. 474 NPS site records include 62 national-park API records; Sequoia and Kings Canyon share one API record. These record counts are not the official count of individually designated parks. 392 API site records have matched visitation history, including the separately reported Sequoia and Kings Canyon visit totals combined for their shared API record. 665 campgrounds are included.

Complete monthly series reconcile with the source’s annual totals. Published annual totals remain available for years with partial monthly reporting. Four monthly entries contain negative accounting corrections. They remain in the archived data and annual totals, and are unavailable as ordinary monthly visit counts. Blank data is not zero. Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values. This helps compare recorded seasonality; it is not a crowding forecast, reservation forecast, or present-condition report.

Activities and amenities reflect published NPS entries, rather than a guarantee of access on a particular day. Fees and pass categories are dated 2026-10-03; official site and reservation links provide current conditions and rules. Campground points are published NPS coordinates. Offshore sites can be viewed on the world extent. Broader public-land agencies are outside this reviewed NPS snapshot.
