Twin Peaks Campground is the main, developed campground at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, located 1.5 miles from the Kris Eggle Visitor Center and Highway 85. Twin Peaks Campground has 34 tent-only sites and 174 sites for RVs, and several sites can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in length. Restrooms have running water and some have solar-heated showers. Hookups for electricity, water, or sewer are not available. A dump station, with potable water is located past the last row of campsites.
All campsites are reserved through www.Recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777. Sites may be reserved the same day or up to six (6) months in advance.

- 4 sites are picnic tables designed for wheelchair and scooter users; these sites are located nearest the restrooms. All restrooms and drinking water facilities within the 208 site campground are fully accessible. The trail to the amphitheater is a mostly flat, paved surface and ADA accessible. There are mostly flat asphalt roads throughout the campground, with paved surfaces surrounding bathrooms.

- There are 174 sites for RVs. Four (4) sites are large enough to accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in length. Hookups for electricity, water, or sewer are not available. A dump station, with potable water is located past the last row of campsites. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Generator hours are from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, and from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Generator use is always prohibited in sites 113-208.

Source: National Park Service API for sites, facilities, campground locations and published fee entries; NPS Public Use Statistics for monthly recreation visits, 1979–2025. Snapshot retrieved 2026-10-03. 474 NPS site records include 62 national-park API records; Sequoia and Kings Canyon share one API record. These record counts are not the official count of individually designated parks. 392 API site records have matched visitation history, including the separately reported Sequoia and Kings Canyon visit totals combined for their shared API record. 665 campgrounds are included.
Complete monthly series reconcile with the source’s annual totals. Published annual totals remain available for years with partial monthly reporting. Four monthly entries contain negative accounting corrections. They remain in the archived data and annual totals, and are unavailable as ordinary monthly visit counts. Blank data is not zero. Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values. This helps compare recorded seasonality; it is not a crowding forecast, reservation forecast, or present-condition report.
Activities and amenities reflect published NPS entries, rather than a guarantee of access on a particular day. Fees and pass categories are dated 2026-10-03; official site and reservation links provide current conditions and rules. Campground points are published NPS coordinates. Offshore sites can be viewed on the world extent. Broader public-land agencies are outside this reviewed NPS snapshot.
