Tuolumne Meadows Horse Campsites are located within Tuolumne Meadows Campground along the Tioga Road. At 8,000 feet (2,600 m) this campground is open seasonally and has wonderful summer access to many hikes, lakes, and prominent viewpoints. The campground is located approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Yosemite Valley but a small store, grill, and post office are located nearby in Tuolumne Meadows.
Tuolumne Meadows Horse Camp reservations are required from early July through September. During the rest of the year the campground is closed. Campground reservations are available in blocks of one month at a time, up to two months in advance, on the 15th of each month at 7 am Pacific time.

- Maximum trailer length allowed is 27 feet. There is a limit of two vehicles and two stock trailers per parking area.

- Each campsite contains a <b>fire ring</b>, <b>picnic table</b>, and a <b>food locker</b> and is near a <b>bathroom with drinking water and flushing toilets</b>. In Tuolumne Meadows food lockers measure 35"(D)x43"(W)x28"(H). The group site has five food lockers. <b>Groceries:</b> Nearby (small grocery store in Tuolumne Meadows) <b>Showers:</b> Yosemite Valley (Curry Village) <b>Dump station:</b> Available all year in Yosemite Valley (in Upper Pines Campground) or, summer only, near Tuolumne Meadows Campground. The Tuolumne Meadows dump station is closed until further notice due to work on the wastewater treatment plant. In addition to Upper Pines in Yosemite Valley, you can find other dump stations outside of the park in Lee Vining (for a fee).

Complete monthly series reconcile with the source’s annual totals. Published annual totals remain available for years with partial monthly reporting. Four monthly entries contain negative accounting corrections. They remain in the archived data and annual totals, and are unavailable as ordinary monthly visit counts. Blank data is not zero. Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values. This helps compare recorded seasonality; it is not a crowding forecast, reservation forecast, or present-condition report.
