Turkey Run Ridge Group Campground (tents only) is designed for groups of people. Families and individuals are encouraged to use Oak Ridge Campground instead. Turkey Run is a 9-site campground with restrooms (no showers), grated fire pits, and picnic tables. Three sites hold a maximum of 40 people. Six sites hold a maximum of 25 people. Parking is available. You can reserve your spot at on www.recreation.gov or call 877-444-6777.
Turkey Run Ridge campsites are available by reservation on www.recreation.gov only. We recommend submitting applications for the spring and fall season at least two to three months in advance.

Published camping fees
- $65 Fee for 25-person Campsite
- $65 · Each campground fee is per site, per night. The Interagency Senior/Access Pass does NOT discount camping fees at Turkey Run Group Campground. The 25-person capacity campsites are A, B, D, G, H, and I. Campers must also purchase an entrance fee per vehicle unless they already possess a valid park pass.

- Cellular service coverage can be spotty.

- Fires must be contained in park provided or personal grills. No fires can be left unattended. Extinguish all fires before retiring for the night or leaving the area. Leave extinguished ashes in the grills. If not camping, wood within the park will not be cut, collected or removed for any reason, unless under an approved Special Use Permit. If camping, dead and downed wood less than six inches in diameter may be collected within the campground for use and consumption during a stay with a valid camping permit.

- Water spigot availability is limited to the warmer months, specifically when nighttime temperatures consistently remain above freezing. During colder periods, spigots may not be operational. If camping during the winter or early spring, anticipate needing to fill your water bottles at the restroom sinks. Other water sources may be turned off during the colder months.

Source: National Park Service API for sites, facilities, campground locations and published fee entries; NPS Public Use Statistics for monthly recreation visits, 1979–2025. Snapshot retrieved 2026-10-03. 474 NPS site records include 62 national-park API records; Sequoia and Kings Canyon share one API record. These record counts are not the official count of individually designated parks. 392 API site records have matched visitation history, including the separately reported Sequoia and Kings Canyon visit totals combined for their shared API record. 665 campgrounds are included.
Complete monthly series reconcile with the source’s annual totals. Published annual totals remain available for years with partial monthly reporting. Four monthly entries contain negative accounting corrections. They remain in the archived data and annual totals, and are unavailable as ordinary monthly visit counts. Blank data is not zero. Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values. This helps compare recorded seasonality; it is not a crowding forecast, reservation forecast, or present-condition report.
Activities and amenities reflect published NPS entries, rather than a guarantee of access on a particular day. Fees and pass categories are dated 2026-10-03; official site and reservation links provide current conditions and rules. Campground points are published NPS coordinates. Offshore sites can be viewed on the world extent. Broader public-land agencies are outside this reviewed NPS snapshot.
