Two Medicine Campground
Two Medicine is approximately 13 miles from East Glacier. Sites within the campground at are generally shaded by trees, and offer some privacy from other campers. Boat tours and Red Bus tours can be found at Two Medicine. There are numerous day hiking opportunities available, including a handicap accessible trail to Running Eagle Falls. The campground remains open in late-September for primitive camping with no running water or flush toilets. Advanced reservations are required for all sites.
Campsites become reservable on a rolling basis, 6 months in advance from the date you want to book your stay. A certain number of sites will be reservable up to 4 days before the desired date. Two Medicine Campground will be closed in 2026 due to construction.

- Potable water is accessible in the campground, and restroom facilities are equipped with flush toilets and sinks with running water. The RV waste dump/fresh water station is operational during the summer months. There is a campstore and gift shop on the shore of Two Medicine Lake. Boat tours and Red Bus tours can be found at Two Medicine. There are numerous trailheads in the area, with the North Shore Trail extending directly from the campground.

Complete monthly series reconcile with the source’s annual totals. Published annual totals remain available for years with partial monthly reporting. Four monthly entries contain negative accounting corrections. They remain in the archived data and annual totals, and are unavailable as ordinary monthly visit counts. Blank data is not zero. Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values. This helps compare recorded seasonality; it is not a crowding forecast, reservation forecast, or present-condition report.
Activities and amenities reflect published NPS entries, rather than a guarantee of access on a particular day.
