Fort Spokane Campground is part of a large recreation complex with the Fort Spokane visitor center, day use area, and boat launch within walking distance. The campground itself sprawls among towering pines, with plenty of space for RVs and walk-in sites for tent campers. Fort Spokane is a popular campground conveniently located near the visitor center and nearby gas stations and stores.

Published camping fees
- Individual Campsite
- $30 · The fee for an individual campsite per night. Group size limit is 10 people and 2 vehicles. All standard camping fees are 50 percent off with an eligible America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass. Group size limit is 10 people and 2 vehicles.
- Water Fill and Dump Station Fee
- $10 · Fee is per use to dump grey and water tanks and to fill potable water tanks. Water filling and dump station use is intended for visitors recreating at Lake Roosevelt and not for residential use. Payments are made at pay.gov. Fees are 50 percent off with America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass. Fees are not included in campground reservation. Campers with a campground reservation only pay the fee once per reservation. Visitors without a campground reservation pay fee per use.

- Several campground restrooms are wheelchair accessible. All campground roads are paved, but footpaths between campsites are generally not wheelchair accessible, with gravel, uneven dirt, and other impediments.

- RVs and trailers may camp at Fort Spokane. Maximum vehicle length varies from site to site. Vehicles, trailers, or RVs cannot be parked on the grass or anywhere except the designated parking spot for each site. Fort Spokane Campground does not have hookups.

- Each campsite has a parking space, picnic table, and fire pit with grate. There is a boat launch (1247’) and nearby Day Use Area. Fort Spokane Visitor Center is also nearby. Water and flush facilities are turned off from October 1 to April 30. Please bring all water necessary for your camping trip.

Source: National Park Service API for sites, facilities, campground locations and published fee entries; NPS Public Use Statistics for monthly recreation visits, 1979–2025. Snapshot retrieved 2026-10-03. 474 NPS site records include 62 national-park API records; Sequoia and Kings Canyon share one API record. These record counts are not the official count of individually designated parks. 392 API site records have matched visitation history, including the separately reported Sequoia and Kings Canyon visit totals combined for their shared API record. 665 campgrounds are included.
Complete monthly series reconcile with the source’s annual totals. Published annual totals remain available for years with partial monthly reporting. Four monthly entries contain negative accounting corrections. They remain in the archived data and annual totals, and are unavailable as ordinary monthly visit counts. Blank data is not zero. Recreation visits are visits, not unique people. Month as percent of annual peak = selected month visits ÷ largest monthly count that year × 100, requiring twelve nonnegative monthly values. This helps compare recorded seasonality; it is not a crowding forecast, reservation forecast, or present-condition report.
Activities and amenities reflect published NPS entries, rather than a guarantee of access on a particular day. Fees and pass categories are dated 2026-10-03; official site and reservation links provide current conditions and rules. Campground points are published NPS coordinates. Offshore sites can be viewed on the world extent. Broader public-land agencies are outside this reviewed NPS snapshot.
